What if it Snows?

Loaded fruit tree. Hard Winter. Just say'n.

 

We got some almost BIBLICAL tain the day before yesterday.

Dark thunderheads were forming, the wind was picking up, and the sky was getting that sickly gray-green color.

I expected to hear the sirens at any moment.

I was at the terminal, and realized our tornado shelter is the men's room.

So I quickly hooked to an empty and drove across the street to the syrup plant.

Their tornado shelter is the break room. There would be refreshments available, and maybe some hot office chicks.

So no sooner do I get back to the truck after checking in with the guard, then KA-BLAMMMM!

Nuclear-white flashes of lightning, followed by the motherless lashing TAIN of a hundred thousand dozen mofos. The truck is swaying to and fro in the wind, and the tain is coming dòwn in horizontal sheets.

This went on for a half hour until it abated.

Flooded the terminal yard. Couldn't hardly find the concrete strip to park the loaded trailers òn.

So now the humidity is off the charts, and the lawn needs to be mowed.

The water has retreated below the level of the yard's flood stage.

So I clicked on that link expecting to see Florida Man with burrito remnants stuck on his face and was denied.

Ours were real good this year.

 

Limb props are in order. This winter when the tree goes dormant I'd prune the ever-lovin crap out of that monster.

 

Get busy picking. You got some canning and freezer containers to put up.
