What would be easy is to set a portable video player out near them. Train them for a brilliant future. Play this over and over for the Parrots. "They" will definitely come and get the birds.

Oh and my eld doesnt even work right! Yea it wont automatically log drive time. I have to manually switch it over and it I forget, then I have to go back and edit it!

Yes they can be. Many companies shut that off on the driver.
I'd rather have it your way. Goofy thing puts me on duty driving when I'm in the middle of a 34. Then, gotta change it.
Don't forget to put a note in there on any editing. It will show as edited. DOT will wanna know what happened. and Yes... putting down... "Stupid me forgot to go on duty" is accepted by DOT and given a clean inspection. I know... :)

Any eld should be able to create drive time with an edit. Its deleting drive time that is verboten.

You're always able to get Safety or an Administrator to change on duty drive time.
If they won't. Shouldn't work for them.
You don't exist for the ELD. The ELD exists for you.

Even then. I've run out of drive time just 5 minutes from my home terminal. I just put a note in there claiming PC miles for that last 5 minutes. Also noted it wasn't only safe haven. It was home terminal. No way anyplace to pull over and stop for the last hour. I couldn't change it while driving. Stupid thing set so I can't.
