You and my SIL should meet and compare feet. He got both at once in Round Rock, 16 feet drop, landed in stand up position, flat footed, on a down sloped sidewalk. Two surgeons in Austin would not try it, I guy said he would. Came by room days later , looked at Howard and said, I did a good job on you. Howard told him he was grateful.

Often times you can’t do anything until the adjuster comes out. Then you have to wait on them to issue the check or at least agree to issue the check. Then you have fema involved which you know how swift the government moves. It can legitimately take months to get all that sorted. Then it’s a man power issue. You basically have to wait your turn because the same contractor that’s fixing your place has 100 more customers that were in line before you.
