Till one of the old Army surplus "Ducks" sank drowning a lot of people...

@Judge You need to go further up to really view the state. Sometime in say 1956, I chugged my young az right past this depot and saw that sign less than 50 feet away, We loaded Jerseys out of there and at Stevens Point a little south of Wausau. Nice pile of nickels, Wausau to St Pete

 

Two halves of an old 6:00 x 16, under Mama's cast iron wash pot boiled the water for hog killing.. And heat for anyone who had time to stand around.

 

The old VW magnesium engine blocks, turn a small fires into a big white hot fire you can't look at for quite awhile.

 

The trip back through the place that the natives are most hostile was… pretty hostile— Spanish Fork to Ogden can only be described as a combat zone

 

I hate that drive through there.
