I killed a hen last week with the grill of my truck and hated that happened. But she took out of the ditch flying south straight into a 35mph wind and she never had a chance.

True.. I have a friend who worked for C & D Batteries in OKC. Some fool way he had got into trucks, had two with drivers on them.
This one came in one day with the WC mirror and it bracket torn loose and hanging down flopping. How in the ???. Well, Boss, you won't believe this.. A pheasant flew up as I passed and struck the mirror, and the force of his lick and my forward speed tore it off. Blood and guts, no metal streaks, so OK.
