Alexandre Hogue. He was a famous painter during the Great Depression. He began building fenders during the dust bowl migration in Southern California. He originally made them for model T fords.
He supplied many jobs for hobos in the Bakersfield area. And is known as the fender king of California. Lot’s of okies named their first born after him.
