I sure am glad I drove in the age (dark) when we did not have all the junk to tend/observe you guys do. 5 gears, window vents for air, gas engines (crank and go/no waiting go or shut down) park brake lever you pulled tight, and it stayed there, vacuum governors (pin hole adjustable), and cozy cabs (easy kept neat).
Lots of the truck stops gave these free "logbooks) that you could fill out (if you were required to) with a little straight edge going 5 on, 1 fuel/eat, 5 in sleeper (while eating at the truck stop.) Great days...

Because I’m single (which sucks) no one in the kitchen chasing me away and giving me a bowl of cold cereal telling me you’re gonna eat well later. DIL is doing the big dinner so I had what could be described as an epic ration of gravy for breakfast. Fat snake syndrome nap might be required.

A man named Newton Minnow once said. TV is a vast wasteland. He was not far wrong.

(WASHINGTON, May 7 (Reuters) - Newton Minow's first speech as chair of the Federal Communications Commission was his most memorable. In addressing leading U.S. broadcast executives on May 9, 1961, in Washington, he said television programming was a "vast wasteland" and something need to be done about it.)

As much as I hate this ghey ### parade, it is nice to hear the girls and their momma having a good time. It’s not yet noon and I have begun drinking. We will need it when we go to the in-laws.
