I had a 99 Dodge Dakota with 109K on it when turned over to SIL recently. Never changed fluid or filters. He may need to do that.

The weather is horrific in the Ho this morning which has impacted the planned bird blasting event— watching the jarheads and squids lay waste to the groundpounders is an option currently being considered, however, a command decision will be delayed until after breakfast. GO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!

Older things held up better, all around. Materials and or workmanship may have contributed, prolly more to the way they are used and treated now..

There's no doubt, most people drive like they're headed to a house fire today and don't give AF. I was talking to a body man awhile back and he mentioned how young people just trash a vehicle, inside and out, no thought to preserving it.

I’m sure that had a little to do with it, but I think this is the other side of that coin. With the amount of lazy and stupid I see on a daily basis I’ve since come to assume all the new guys are lazy and stupid until proven otherwise.
