Close.... the British colonies located in what is now Canada chose not to declare independence back in the 1700s. A bunch of British loyalist fled north to what is now Canada during the American revolution.

They slowly wiggled their way towards independence but stayed under control of the crown till 1982: "Although the United Kingdom retained formal authority over certain Canadian constitutional changes, it relinquished this authority with the passing of the Canada Act 1982 which was the final step in achieving full sovereignty."

 

Still in the 40s here..... breaking not a problem except the ridge shingles had to bend those slow on the low ridge.

The remaining area of the roof is a big flat zone.

For the high ridge, I will rig up a low temp oven inside to warm them and pre-bend them.

 

nope 3-12 we typically don't get that much snow this low for me to justify much steeper.

Was going to do metal but that was no longer in the budget.

Have to do research to figure out if a copper cap would be better to help control moss.

What are looking for internal temp? 130 or so.
What are you looking at for cook time, about 40 minutes per pound?
