Preparations for the Cornish Game Hen event are well underway

 

looks like waaaayyyyy to much work going on there.

 

I came home for the holidays. So it was on local kdka.Got our butts kicked.

 

Chili on Christmas?

 

it was a 5 pound roast, waited for 120 degrees then cranked it up to 500 degrees for the reverse sear, then pulled it after 15 minutes (5 minutes to get to 500) 10 minutes at temperature. Then wrapped it in foil 20 to 30 minutes. Sorry didn’t get a picture at time it was done.

@Espressolane For the rub, corse black pepper, Kosher salt, Granulated garlic, Cayenne pepper, and a little MSG.

Ya know what they say, where ever you go, there you are. Also, what ever the temperature of the room is, that’s room temperature. Think about that.

Well after watching the CHIFES game highlights on F YouTube it looked like a great game. I was denied the privilege of watching the entire game.
