What if it Snows?

Just looked out back door and have a dusting of snow. Currently six (6) with wind chill of ten (10) below.
Saw some nut on a Ruckus this afternoon. Temp was fifteen (15).

First full day of orientation today.

So far, so good.

Low of -17 tamarra. Boo....

 

Had a heifer come fresh this afternoon, had a HUGE dead calf, beat her up pretty good. Didn’t see it til she was done, I probably would’ve pulled it. After I milked all the rest, I brought her through, she went down in the parlor. Was gonna get her up with the tickle stick, then thought, hey it’s gonna be the coldest day of the year tomorrow, she may have landed at the best spot she could have. Carried water and feed to her, heat in the floor, dinner in bed, she’s living the high life!

 

ND has pulled quite a Comeback
