The way I read it,, South Carolina enforces the 2021 International Building Code (IBC) with SC Modifications

Something else I noticed was that any Outbuildings over 200 SF required a Permit

All the Requirements should be within

 

A reactionary attitude towards authority I believe is the correct assessment. Ask me how I know.

 

Around here, we don’t have any electrical inspections, but you MUST use a liscensed plumber. Apparently, it’s easier to drown due to leaky pipes than electrocution?

 

We can do everything ourselves, or we can hire a licensed professional. For all mechanicals. We however aren’t allowed to hire our neighbor, Joe Bob.

Right! But where does one find these resources? Short of buying the 300 dollar book. And I’m too poor for that!

 

They'll eventually show up with pricks with guns is the only problem .

 

I remember them days but what changed it around here were crooked builders that came in slapping up junk and burnt alot of new home owners .
