    pressure shouldnt have changed unless your new pressure switch has a higher on /off . Hope you dont have the old grey pipe in your home .

    Its kind of water hammering. The only thing im thinking is more water flow in the shower. I'll drop the pressure a bit. It's a 30 50 switch. Maybe around 45 for the top.

    Check the pressure of the expansion / bladder tank it'll have to be empty of water to get the pressure of the diaphram . On a 30 -50 switch you want 27psi on the bladder. Also if its an old tank bladder possible it is kaputt or real low pressure there will be a surge , if its to high it'll mess with the cut off point of the switch .

    You shouldnt have a pressure regulator on the line but one that goes bad will sometimes hamer like a jackhammer . Open all faucets make sure no air pocket is in there , its unlikely . Hey ! 3.99 per min dial a plumber , might even talk dirty to you .

    Had this done on Wednesday morning...

    Before it was pinned that knuckle was broke off, pushed down about 60 degrees & 1/4 inch, and rotated 3 to 5 degrees. Still hurts but at least I can move it again.
