Just put on a 22lbs big one on the smoker.

 

Had a pair when I drove logger. Still got them upstairs. Reminds me of a pair of 140 flex plug ski boots.

redid an old claw foot back about 2009. Tub was in pretty good shape on the inside just a couple of little chips and cracks in the enamel that needed to be touched up. Ended up refinishing the entire thing so the touch-ups would not be noticeable.

I think I used a Rust-Oleum brand specialty gloss white epoxy coat on the inside, came out good.

Outside did a dark satin gray automotive enamel after a thorough cleaning and prep.

The feet were dragon feet around a ball -- sand blasted them and did a detail paint on them with an airbrush setup. Yes there was pearl paint involved on those.

If I remember correctly I spent more on paint than I paid for the Craigslist tub.

 

The brisket has reached a temperature of 150 and is ready to be wrapped up in foil put back in the smoker till it reaches 205 to 212 completing part 2 of the cook.

 

Looks like a weird ### piece of C4 with a couple of detonators stuck into it
