Sooo… yesterday while discovering termites. At my folks house. I discovered that when the mighty majestic pecan tree that fell on the house during the hurricane in September it shifted the whole house a good two inches on the foundation. I don’t know how I missed it. The brick underpinning is going to need extensive repair. Add that to the wood damage. This is going to get expensive.

Oh well that will be for another day. Today we get to go to my grandmother’s house and see what kind of problems that will bring.

Yesterday’s practice shoot revealed that the Squid was sandbagging — the kid can shoot— I may have to employ some sort of treachery during today’s competition shoot

Do you have sustance or closeby access if you get to spend the weekend? Some food delivery for stranded drivers...?

Sounds like you got your hands full. I'm assuming contractors will be used for the termite problem and getting the house square on the foundation, but the planning/organization will be no easy task itself. One step in front of the other my friend, and it will be handled.

Sorry to hear about your Dad's declining health. Speaking from experience, it's one of the hardest things to witness.
