Here's a question for anyone who wants to answer. I read a while back that people in the south say sammich, and I've never heard anyone from the south say it. I never pronounce the letter d so it sounds like sanwich.. Just wondering how you guys from the south pronounce sandwich. I probably need to go into town more, but I just don't care to fck with the aggravation.

 

Sand-witch. I also say I-dear when I have a bright idea. Never said sammich unless I actually meant to say sammich.

 

I've always heard it like you do , without the d. I've lived in Georgia my whole life, never in a big city more like the boondocks.

 

My grandson has a complexion like yours. He can't even turn on the bathroom light without getting sunburned, and he works in construction too so he has to stay covered up too. I've told him he needs to wear a hat instead of a ball cap, but you know how far that went.
