You are similar here to the guy wanting in the nite club... Bouncer said tie, had to have a tie... Went to check and shook down the car all over.
No mislaid tie.... Saw a pair of jumper cables in the trunk, draped over his neck and and went back to door. Asked Bouncer, "Will this do?"
Bouncer stared; grumbled, and said: "I guess so, but don't get in there and try starting anything."

    "Enjoy your "break".

Lot of associated risks here. One will crash, law of mechanical / electrical /computer engineering averages...
Real property damage, other vehicles involved, Death / injury of observer/driver seat occupant and persons in struck vehicles.
Then collision damages to it, struck vehicles, and any hazmat cleanup from all the involved. Pain, suffering, loss of companionship.

A major concern will be insurance: Who will write liability for one and at what rate and limits, physical damage? Who will cover cargo?

Big truck suing lawyers will no longer need billboards, TV or hand outs at truck stops. Just one win, lifetime income....

Hmn.. Sound like a job description I one read. "Your hours will be from the time you start in the mornings until the work for the day is done."

Well, as I aged I found that work was way overrated. Like drinking and sex, should be enjoyed in moderation. :):)
