My route went to three different cities so I had to group those in the front. I fit five more skids in the area behind the drums. I don't run across any scales either and chances of hitting any portables is slim.
I've stripped trailers before that had 50k+ on there, dock supervisor wasn't paying attention to weights, just skid counts.
Most I've ever seen over on a single axle drive was 6k so I fixed it. A majority of the time weight isn't an issue for me.
