What if it Snows?

My route went to three different cities so I had to group those in the front. I fit five more skids in the area behind the drums. I don't run across any scales either and chances of hitting any portables is slim.

I've stripped trailers before that had 50k+ on there, dock supervisor wasn't paying attention to weights, just skid counts.

Most I've ever seen over on a single axle drive was 6k so I fixed it. A majority of the time weight isn't an issue for me.

 

I'm posting up at the tank wash where I usually park in Dayton.

I will continue westbound under cover of darkness, when the HIDE count drops significantly.

Please remind me on July 4th and Labor Day, to get off the road and go home, no matter how much money they wave in my face......it almost, ALMOST, ain't worth it.

I'll feel better after food and a nap. Meatloaf on that Amish sourdough bread I scored in KY the other day...

 

No; but we snatch up the Crappie in the backwaters of the MS reservoirs. (Grenada, Sardis. Enid) when the dogwood 's green buds just start bursting out white. Find a bed in the shallows, and catch all you can get out with from a diameter size of a wash tub. Move a foot outside that circle, nothing. Inside, as fast as you can take one off and drop back in. Little white haired jig, or live crickets. Slab crappie, fillets size of the back of your large hand.
