What if it Snows?

Who’s poking all the other holes in the mannequin? We not seeing pictures of them shots lol! Off topic but…..I got a kind of a hermit buddy that lives way out. Every morning he goes onto his back porch, while coffee is making, and shoots once at a piece of steel, at 760yd distance with a .300 mag. Just leaves the rifle outside leaned against his table. Sometimes hits, sometimes not, says that’s an indicator of how his day will go. Kinda odd.

 

Dad had something similar happen to him in his 2022 Cascadia. A car slung a piece of retread and he couldn't move over in time. When he ran over it he instantly heard air leaking.

In a little over a mile looking for a wide spot it was down and about to set the trailer brakes. In his haste to crawl under he left it in drive. The truck cut off from the idle shutdown and wouldn't crank since it was in gear.

The wrecker came and supplied air through the dryer so the solenoid could kick back into neutral, dad had reconnected the transmission supply that had been knocked loose and away he went.

 

Fortunately The OM was on top of things, and saw these guys were a tad green.

Their supervisor was somewhat competent.

But The OM watched them as a hawk, which was justified, or they'd blown it.

Holiday staff I suppose.

The OM is satisfied. Although their was a lot of OM supervision given.

The old filters looked excellent.

 

The driver has now obtained a clean hot shower.

Because Flying J is GREAT!!!!!!!!

Thinking truck burritos, then make truck pico.

You sure hang out at TS alot. You can't make any $ on the side of the road. PS I only use fresh limes in my tequila.

 

Well, you never know. Dave very well may have a side hustle that involves multiple hours and nights at truckstops. Not sayin', jus sayin'
