Last (and only) lumper I ever used was in 56 for $9 and he voluntarily made the receipt for $10. Drove me from Tooley's in Jersey City; to the egg market in NYC, unloaded me and drove me back. Hard worker. Young hand, 1st time in or thru the city. Got some thru moves with Beneke till went west.
