    We’re getting ready for the main event — just had to go tell the neighbor in back that if he shot another one towards the shop and tepee and boat he’d have the next one stuffed up his ### with the fuse lit — F’n idiots— it’s gonna be a long night and I have to be in Burley at 09:25

    We’re sitting out on the back lawn waiting for the town fireworks display to start. They’re going to set them off about 75 yards from us so we have the best seats in town,

    From what I can gather from reading the operator's manual, that's me being fuel efficient....

    Well, it did sort of precipitate here. Mostly enough to sort of get a bit sticky.
    The ignition of various explosive devices has been going since about 3:00 PM. Will probably kick into overdrive soon as the sun goes down, then last until 1:00 or 2:00 AM.
