What if it Snows?

Truck is back in the shop getting a new fan hub.
That they were supposed to put on last week.

 

Endured the tain of a hunnert dozen mofos in Cascade, IA last night. Rocked the truck. Was waiting for the sirens.....none sounded.

Drove thru thick fog in Iowa, intermittent tain in Missoura, and sunny overcast in Kanzass.

Delivering in Topeka for the first time ever.

My opinion of Topeka is conflicted.....Great receiver ( they do everything except cut the dome seal) nice wide streets, several newish distribution centers nearby, but it looks like the numerous shuttered small businesses have taken a beating, except the liquor stores and gas stations.

I'm probably on the "wrong side of the tracks", though.

I remember from grade school, "The capital of Kansas is Topeka".....

And for a youngster growing up on the east coast, going to school on the east coast, and only having east coast relatives to visit, that phrase might as well be, "The capital of Mars is Kansas".......

 

As I've said before, grounded outlets, GFCIs, and double insulated tools are interfering with the routine culling of the gene pool......
