Don't they call those peeler logs grown on a plantation? We call our logs Timber from the mountains.

 

What's wrong with orange cats. ? My brother had one he found as a kitten. Don't remember what happened to it. His pill head old lady Probly traded it for pills.

Mostly all I’ve ever heard them called is pulpwood. Some of them ain’t more than 4” on the little end. But we do cut a lot of big pine for lumber and of course lots of hardwood. Don’t guess you guys know anything about hard wood.


On the hard wood, most mills don’t want the logs any longer than 14-16’

It’s not a happy place at the moment— trying to decide which way to run this — tepee remodel’n is hard— AND Critter 1 arrived for a 2 day visitation— they went to the splash park and I went to the beer fridge

 

@Oxbow has a 48’ float with a homemade log bunk and it has hauled a lot of logs and I know for a fact that it’s been off-road or off the road or… never mind
