is that part you or the other guy?
My blood sugar will tank quickly sometimes quickest fix is sugar, but then I have to eat something substantial and not necessarily sweet, I start getting the shakes i need to find food, real food, but sometimes something sweet will get me over the edge until I can get real food, and I hate sweets, but it's a quick fix until I can take care of it properly.
---------- keep some jerky around , it'll stick with ya .

keep some jerky around , it'll stick with ya .
I have a Dexcom Continues Blood Glucose Monitor for the past 6-7 months and it's been a game changer for me Iv dropped from 360 pounds down to 295 and still losing about a pound and a half a week. This being said I have not eaten any thing with added sugar, bread, pasta, rice and potatoes in the past 9 months. When my blood sugar gets too low (below 70) Ill eat two hard boiled eggs and two sticks of string cheese or have a diet Dr Pepper with a scoop of whey protein and 1/4 tea spoon of cinnamon. This keeps me filled up and takes the blood sugar to the 100-110 range. If eat something and I get up in the 160s I'll go for a 23 min walk and this drops the blood sugar down 60 points real fast and stays in the 85-90 range for hours.

I forget how much it was last year. Around 2.20 I think. I've got it written down.

I normally do have jerky around, actually I did when that happened, but I was pushing too hard to keep up with service calls and working on roof tops in 100+ weather finally got to me. Unfortunately our local maker of jerky that I really liked passed away and his kid took over the business, it's still good but hit and miss on availability because it's a side thing for him, it was the ole man's income.
