Are you going to be home when she does that? If not I would move stuff around to be there, reason I'm say that is because when my mom had one they punctured her spleen and if dad had not been home she would not be here, she was bleeding out.

It's a short run. 38k pounds. 245 miles or 290 to avoid Chicago and tolls. For 1050 LS gross. 80 mile DH and 90 miles to the house. Is it great? No. 370 miles at 1050. I usually count the DH to the load. I get 7.5 mpg. So $160 for fuel would be a guess. 720 is my $ after LS cut. 718-160= 558. Not great or horrible. It's lazy too.

It does get me home so I can cut grass, wash clothes, cook.

 

Yeah, I’ll be there. Momma has asked that I am. She’s worried about bad news and doesn’t want to be there alone.

All this is one reason I don’t want a truck payment at the moment. I’m really only working about 2-3 weeks a month right now.

 

Me and the wife did a lot of it before the kids came along. They are 20 now and it’s time for us to get back to the things we enjoyed before them.

 

But.. it works out OK once you factor in the eye candy...I mean good looking women becuase there ain't much of that either
