It's the first time I've had them baked. They were supposedly baked when I first got the truck. Over 250K miles ago.

Got one of the new ones programmed but apparently that's all it will let me do. Don't know why the other one lost programming.

Back in the Triple A days they said can you unlock a Dodge Viper? I said don't see why not. . Get there and dude has key in hand. Hood up and car locked. Fiddled for awhile and he finally called dodge.
They said oh car has lost its security programming. Tow it to us and we fix. He did and they did.

From memory...Sister's Buick. In use one lost it.Replaced battery. She had the spare at home, Instructions (from somewhere) said have the dead one within 10' or car; lock and unlock with the active spare. Dead one would have picked up. It did. This is 15 yr old tech tho.

Just got the call from the ford dealer, the 2019 alumaduty had a recurring check engine light, wasn’t regening properly. Eight new injectors and sundry clips and do dads later it’s ready. 13,600 dollars! I’m happy I work for a small business and don’t own one today. Same truck needed new exhaust filter two years ago. Doesn’t have 100000 km (60000 miles) on it. Snow removal is all stick no carrot. I see it getting traded in the near future. Needs some highway time on it, poor thing is always in city traffic
