04:30 wake up call this morning and when I went to plug the coffee in I heard something at the sliding door to the deck and I could swear it was the HB but it wasn’t— other half says she has had the same thing out of the corner of her eye this week— nuth’n scary, just the presence of the HB — it was like that after Clancy passed— told her we’re getting old and dementia is settling in

Had the same thing last week with my Redbone, if I didn't know better would have swore he was outside the door, we are the only ones here that have had hounds, it honestly made my hair stand up a bit, seriously sounded just like him, and yes I did look even though I dug the hole. Emotions can be odd.
