Finally back home. I was with a friend at a local retail store when I had a tonic-clonic seizure. Turned into a series of them. Status Epilepticus can be deadly, and I almost was.

Keri brought me home, and oh, was she silent on the ride. She left to head over to the store to get some things for me. I sorta got that we're gonna talk later, look!

 

Well at least someone is upset that your not doing well. Hope you can get it figured out. It doesn't sound easy.

 

Well my new star link is coming today. The old dish, the motors froze and sometimes works. So "free" replacement. I paid $500 for the first one and 120 a month for service. But it's fast and better than dsl I had. So tomorrow I'll work.

 

"Upset" doesn’t quite cover it. I know Keri like the back of my hand—when she goes quiet, you’d better start building a bunker because the volcano's about to blow. She even snapped at my poor doctor this morning before we left the hospital.

The real issue is her husband is still in the military and has no plans to retire soon. Moving in with them would mean hopping on the PCS relocation merry-go-round and swapping doctors every time they move. No thanks! That’s not a solution—it’s a prescription for chaos, and Keri knows it. I think her frustration is more with the situation than with my refusal to pack up my life and follow them around like a nomadic family member.
