This week was the turn in Central Oregon. Dusted the top of the Cascades. Cowgirl won't let me turn on central heating yet....let the snowflakes fall.

No great fun, but some good money.
In the day of digging/building the Tenn/Tom Waterway, there was a rental company here who had some big diesel compressor like that.
We had circled Tupelo on a map, and priced delivery of our repaired equipment for each circle. I think 1 inch increments; start $35.00 local, then + $10.00 every increase. We had a roll back, but some were to bulky to fool with loading/unloading.
So, we obtained a hitch from an Army Deuce and a half, had it fabricated to our frame and just toddled the big yellow bulk to renter at 45 MPH.
Tow it to a site, bill.. Go back later, hook and tow down the dig, bill same, move it 2 miles.
So on and so forth for over a year. Gravy if delivering a repair in same area.

That’s strange, my missus seems to enjoy having the furnace on for the house , but the ac on in the bedroom. It makes my inner Scotsman boil. I got to shoo the penguins away from the bed to go to sleep up there

You ain't kidding. I hadn't looked at this until you said something. I'd like to be able to go and watch, sadly I would probably be hauling a load of stuff home I thought I needed. And it would sit around until my kids sold it at my estate sale.
