What if it Snows?

I drove a shipmate back to his home in Chicago, back in the day.

He suggested the tequila shots might be a good idea. I didn't think so, not being much of a tequila guy.

So I told him, "If we're really gonna do this, then AT LEAST get Cuervo Gold."

So he did.

We did three rounds, in fairly quick succession.

Then the barkeep threw us out.

"Why? Are we loud?"

"No".

"Are we bothering other patrons?"

"No."

"Then why?"

"Because, I don't want you guys in here when the tequila finally kicks in".......

 

So in today's episode of "It's one thing after the other " decided to check all my lights on the Mighty Silverado. Well. High mount brake lite no worky. A couple years ago had a back up lite go out and a message popped up on dash telling me all about it. No message on this one.
Since I was a Boy Scout in a previous life I had the needed bulb on hand.

 

I skip often.

However, I do the "WOOOSH!" mandated by the WIIS by-laws....

My Friday service call was over to the bosses parents place. Have been here almost 30 years, we are pretty friendly. His dad Thomas is 97. He is just now getting to need a few grab bars installed.
Put those in and had a coffee and a chat. His parents decided we should make this a monthly thing. I said just schedule the service call and don’t worry about the bill, we will go for lunch. I have a company credit card

 

They had a bunch of other maples , Autumn Blaze , priced at 300. Very nice folks. Remembered me from this spring when I bought a red bud from em.

 

My dad always said that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.

Another barn stray showed up sometime last night. Cowgirl let this one in the mud room, it was cold out and the cat could of frozen to death & starved.

Meanwhile it was a beautiful Fall day for a beer with Dally the Destroyer. Toys have a short life with her.
