Do they nail it down in the box trailer or just on the flat deck?

 

Do you suppose a 4" PVC might suffice and be somewhat climb proof, rot resistant and never need painting? Some way to rig the feeder to the top, but surely, master minds here can provide. With some levels on sides for vertical true, and cap on top to protect top round edge, a big F'ng hammer might sink this into the ground. Mark 2 feet line on it and drive.... Would eliminate digging, concrete purchase mixing, finishing, etc..Just a thought...

KY has a lot of whitesh grit just below that Bluegrass too.

Small block of acreage near my daughter house in Lex. Developer obtained, got sign out for a massive build of "nice $ " homes.
Started the 1st of the models and in digging for foundations and basement hit space.... Was some cave like dome with dirt on top.
Wound up doing a true work around, ring of houses and a fairly large green space in/neat center.

 

This hole for that fo x fo. You got the dirt out of it yet? Someone asked, makes me no neh mine...
