What if it Snows?

There is an old adage in the small consumer loan business:
"Accounts over 90 days no activity are headed down the P & L trail..". As "L"..

In accounts receivable, there is contract and activity aging.
12 month contract, (12 x 20) Missed 3 payments and is 90 days past due, no response, prolly a loss.

12 month contract, (12 x 20) Missed 2 payments, paid 1, now paying 1, and says he can pay on each month.
He has come in to talk and was sick,missed work, working now... (Good loan customer.)
Will always need money and do not have to chase....

 

My question...
If the banks; and car finance entities all went and repoed their 90's and over, where would they put/store them while arranging auction?
In my day a guy missed 2 payments; we "got" the car, parked it behind the office, until he made suitable payments to spring.
No payee, no ridee...

 

That is going to be the question... News varies; but apparently initial reports they were dangerous and were being shot. One report 1or3 left alive. Origin statement is they not diseased/dangerous. Driver advised LE and 1st Responders they were. How long do you stand around watching them roam to decide, especially if one came bounding up to you?
Quietly watch for the redneck, ignorant, cruel, MS handling ,to come.... Well, some other state will get a reprieve ...

So this was in the Beaver state? Sounds like someone has their head up their ###. What little I drive around town what I'm seeing here is no blinkers, no stopping at stop signs and of course tailgating. Mostly younger Culls. Had to brake chk a Tesla yesterday at 15mph & 2 ft off my wagon. It didn't want anymore action after that. Guess after all those years of abuse you just reach a limit.

 

Question:
Why would any reasonable person loan 50, 60, or 70 thousands of dollars to a 20 year old with zero credit history on a depreciating asset?
This stuff is crazy.
Reminds me of 2008.
