The CEO they hired to turn Chipotle around and make it profitable again came from Taco Bell. It went from good fresh food and large portions to a more expensive version of Taco Bell.

Did not the lady' who is junking Cracker Barrel, come from / thru the Taco Bell system?

 

In 1962; me fresh out of U. S . Army, I enrolled in an accounting correspondence school. Did the whole course over nearly 2 years, paper and pencil. No adding machine. Was qualified to sit for the CPA exams. Only thing, had been promoted to supervising 6 branches of the finance company I had started chasing past dues for. Making $600.00 per month salary, good bennies and auto allowance that made a car pmt.
To go CPA; take and pass exam, then work under a CPA operation for I think the 2 years before I could get my own ticket.

The reason for the above is one of the many point stressed in the course was this:
"Approximately 30% of the business's in the United states, are nether well capitalized or well managed."

In my working life; I have found that to be true. That was in 1962. As time passed, what do you think that percentage is today

I would guess 30 percent Still holds true today if not more.
