Depression and like you said other mental & physical issues. I'm a light consumer. Usually a beer with dinner & water. Hot drink occasionally when cold. I drink for the taste not the effect.

I've watched a couple youtube videos from vascular surgeons on what it does to women. I'd be frightened into sobriety if I was a woman. It F's them up on a molecular level.

How strange. Kidding. I drank for the opposite reason. But as things wore on , it was both.

Alcohol seems to effect them differently than men. If a person has any American Indian in them the alcohol will bring it out.

I can't say I've never been guilty. But most of the time I don't drink enough to get there, becuase the next day sucks.
