The only upside if we were to looking for one is he's 100% in the clear as far as the company and cops are concerned. I called him a lil bit ago just to give him a "hey buddy let's go play motorcycles or drink beer or something" and I got the "hey man lemme call you back". I completely understand I just don't know how to approach it. I honestly don't wanna talk about it with him, I was just maybe hoping I could get his mind of it for a minute. Dude went under the trailer and hit the battery box for the lift gate... apparently not pretty from what my boss told me. I sent the driver a text he needs to be on the road tomorrow no matter what and my boss agreed. Don't instantly go off the road....don't give any peice of #### lawyers and assumption there might be guilt. Poor guy didn't even get his day started yet, thats right up the road from our barn. Y'all please just keep him in your thoughts, he's got a lot to process right now.
We all post the fatality accidents on here but it's not too often they hit this close to home. First my brother in brown getting gunned down in South Florida then this. Honestly questioning what I want to do now. I love what I do....don't get that wrong...don't matter if I'm yard dog, pulling a 53' dumping bulk, running a 35' and merchandising stores, or pulling wiggle wagons 600 miles a day +honestly feel super trucker when I do this). I know this is part of the job but it's a lot at one time. I am a 6g certified welder, Mercedes Benz A tech, hell of a truck wench with my own shop....just wondering if I should take a break for a lil bit.
Sorry for the sappy posts guys. Somebody needs to post hot chicks and beer to bring the thread back up since I ruined it lol.Last edited: Dec 28, 2019
Reason for edit: Autocorrect is my worst enema.RidgeRunner731, WesternPlains, Rocks and 7 others Thank this. -
He has to do that in his own time and in his own way. The best thing you can do is make it clear that you’re there for him anytime he needs to either vent about it or just to be a shoulder to cry on, and it sounds like you’ve already done that.RidgeRunner731, WesternPlains, Rocks and 5 others Thank this.

Ham and Scalloped Potatoes
Got hams on sale at Kroger for $1.20 a pound. After baking, you end up with a crap load of ham.
Ham is good. Too much ham is not good.RidgeRunner731, WesternPlains, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -
