    The OM is pleased. I was instructed by The OM to divert to the southern part of the communist state and get a load back to Phoenix.

    We aren't quite in holiday mode, but close.

    The rule in California is the speed limit is for what ever the conditions are. A friend of mine was pulled over in California for doing 70 in Paasadena. The posted limit was 35. The officer stuck him for 15 over the limit. Seems speed limits in California in 1982 are for worst conditions. Not sure if this is still the case.

    Guy said he took the passenger and rear seats out. Had additional fuel tanks there and in the truck. Ran to Missouri somewhere on I 44 on first tank. Friends met him and filled him up in, he said, about 8 minutes. Peed in a jug and I guess he never had to take a dump. All of this in a Mustang that he rented. Said that rental place would never notice the extra holes he drilled for the tanks. And posted all of this online. Bad smell on this one from the get go.
