So difficult to find a quality zoop now a days, let alone one that will make it 9 years.

You'll have to wait until I get back to the promised land.

Interesting. He installed a Separate switch for the fan.
Also during summer. He has valves he closes for the heat. Old trucks don’t need any more heat getting in the cab.
When my ac quit. I had moved to defrost. Raining. I know defrost uses both ac and heat. Regardless of where you have temp. That’s to dry the air.
I’ll mention to him about that switch. I’m learning all the time.
    This is a CAT engine.
Other truck is a Cummings. If you run the ac on it. Have to run the fan all the time. Otherwise the “top” as he calls it pops off. AC quits working on it?

If the fan stays on all of the time, they you may not be getting enough air flow through. I had a truck that would cool so-so when going down the road but not much at all when parked. And the fan was always running, when parked, anyway. My shop evac the a/c, pulled off the condensor, then separated the CAC from the radiator and leaned it over. Then when he blew out each unit separately. There was a ton a crap came out. I had tried blowing it out with everything connected but all I ended up doing was to pack it in tighter. When he was done he put everything back together, recharged to a/c and it cooled like a brand new truck. Temps stayed cooler on the hard pulls too.
