    Good news/ bad news.
Bad news is that the weather has turned from 'oh my' to WTF.
Good news is that we were able to secure a case of beer before it got too ugly.
We're hunkered down. We got smokes. We got beer. We got cold pizza.
The way my azimuth calculated it, we have roughly 12 hours.

I'll update as the weather allows.

That is a very good book. My uncle Eldred was with the armored infantry attached to the 11th Armored Division which proceeded through Europe a ways north of the Spearhead Division... He was involved in the liberation of Mauthhausen Concentration camps. All the while he was looking for his brother, a waist gunner on a B-17, who was shot down. In total 5 of my Grandfathers brothers served in the war... All five made it home alive.

Another very good true story from WWII is "Indianapolis" by Lynn Vincent and Sara Vladic.

I think @otterinthewater might have some fun here. Boogie boards for sure. I'm not sure if its enough wave for a surf board.

    Dunno. I don't think so.
Frankly, I've been waiting for the plague of locusts.
