Alas our 34 is rapidly coming to an end. Must go to store, get the food prep done, then onward.

I've been watching videos on flushing your hot water heater.
Now I looked at the info that came with mine. Looks like a really good water heater? It's a Rheem Marathon Electric Hot Water Heater. Says it's Non-Metallic. ???
I can't see anything on an Anode? Either book or on the unit.
They say to drain all the way. The book says to drain a few quarts. Do that once a month. There might be a reason to not drain all the way? ???
I did drain for 5 minutes. Didn't see any deposits at all.
Yet... I know darn well where I live. We got lotsa calcium and other minerals.
Should I go ahead and drain it all the way?
I could put up a picture of it. Appears to be the best insulated hot water heater I've ever seen.

Yes flush it. Non metallic must be a fiberglass that's why no anode. But still builds up crap at the bottom so flush away

I’m in the Detroit area, it looks a lot better in the pics. It’s a real piece of crap, needs a lot of everything. Believe me, you don’t want it. Good short trip beater for me, I plan on getting something more dependable, like this 94, I found in SC, for $2800. It’s super clean, I want something with a throttle body. So I can use remote start in winter. Something my wife can drive, if needed.
