Are there prizes for having been to a lot of these places?

Kan Kun in Beaver is not that good.
There is a better place in Beaver for breakfast/lunch, not open for diner.

Russels in New Mexico is Ok. Think Silver Moon in Santa Rosa has better quality food.

If you like Indian food, Jay Bros is actually quite good.

Homecooker in Kentucky is usually decent. Can be a hit and miss. Just depends.

Boise Stage stop is good. Good portions and if your a driver, your food will hit the table hot and quick.

Johnsons corner has mostly turned into a sysco redistribution facility since Petro bought them out.
Was decent for a while, then started a decline, now a petro.

Wintergatan - Marble Machine (music instrument using 2000 marbles)
    Who invented the Marble Machine?
Martin Molin of Swedish band Wintergatan did, and we’re seriously glad about that, because what he’s invented is nothing short of genius. Taking two years to complete, The fantastically complex Wintergatan Marble Machine is comprised of 3000 internal parts and uses 2000 marbles to make music.

The school this guy went to obviously didn't teach social justice, political correctness, etc. He went to a school where the brain is used and developed.

The list is outdated, and I saw this article long before the pandemic, so some of the places are out of business, or operating at reduced capacity. Gee Cees in Toledo WA is on the list, but they have been closed down since March for sit down dining. Pioneer Villa in Halsey OR is open, but the food has gone downhill since they reopened after the pandemic. The bar is open and you can't really mess up beer or well drinks. Area 51 in Nevada (also on the list) is a place I stopped late last year and their burger was horrible like a dried up piece of leather.

Agree with you about Silver Moon in Santa Rosa NM. The food was pretty good. Much better place in Clovis NM next to the Love's if you ever get down that way called Cook's. The last 2 times I went to Johnson's Corner in CO, I could barely choke down what they served me. It was horrible.

A great restaurant doesn't need a full service truck stop and fuel, just good food at a fair price and parking for trucks with bathrooms. One that comes to mind is Obie's BBQ, exit 74 off I-25 in central Colorado. Enough parking for around 25 trucks (including overnight), great food and a great bar.

Which one? There are so many now. I fear that soon we'll all be calling each other comrade while wearing little gray coveralls.
