    My wife is visiting her mom in Applegate, which is where the eastbound chain control checkpoint is on I-80. She said they had some light snow last night, which is uncommon for that altitude of around 2,500 feet. I'm at sea level and it's around 34 outside, so expect Donner to be possibly icy today.

    This morning I actually found a good usage for one of these face masks.

    There was no toilet paper in my stall.

    Has that mask a long time too. We've yet to purchase a mask. Still have half a dozen or so from those fearing the plague.
