    My longest is 8 weeks without a reset. I like my day to be under 8.75 counting fuel, pre/post, and driving. Obviously it doesn't always play that way, but that's the daily average to never stop.

    For me, I run as hard as I can and don't worry about hours. Someone will jack you over between your 5th and 6th day where it all works out. When my theory proves me wrong I grab a twelve pack and a bbq sandwich.

    If I go a full 70, I don't mind a 34 at all. I look forward to it.

    We purchased a new loaf of Wonder Bread and MEAT AND CHEESE in preparation for getting underway.

    Think it was about 4 months, maybe a bit more.
    Was stringing gas lines, so 8 hr days.
    Was a dern fine gig to, paid like $950.00 a day.

    Me to , im used to just doing a 34 every week. I think id rather just burn my 70 up in 5 days and get a 34 , than just keep running recap over and over..

    Just depends how you feel. Sometimes you can, or at least I can, get trapped into runs when I'm tired cause one of the other trucks has done something, and I'd rather keep the relationship with the agent.

    Sometimes it's just too much money to let go.

    That's how arrived at taking nearly a month off, just do to being worn out.
