It dam near did kill my mother having one done, they managed to hit her spleen and was bleeding internally. Thankfully dad got in off the road the next day so when she fell down in the middle of the night and was ghost white pale he could get her to the hospital in Hermiston that in turn life flighted her to Vancouver. They took 2 liters of blood out of her gut and she got to stay there for almost 3 weeks. She still looked like crap when I got there from Nebraska 2 days later. I'm sticking with not getting one.

There was a lack of diligence on part of the practitioners who did her procedure, as well as the care staff that released her. That's like avoiding a teeth cleaning because a dentist lacerated the tendon on somebody's tongue.

Haha! I understand the negligence part, I'm laughing because I don't do the dentist I've not been to 1 yet that my mouth didn't hurt for a week, so I quit going probably close to 20 years ago.

When I decided to stop going to the dentist I was closer to your neck of the woods, Las Vegas. The one in Nevada. Health care in this town does suck that's why we do everything in Tri-Cities or Spokane.

I know a guy who got an std from a woman, I know 1 who got 1 from a man, and if I lived in Arkansas or Oklahoma I'd likely know a guy who got one from livestock. So do you avoid relationships out of fear as well, or only physicians?

I do agree with that, maybe being between a strip club and casino should'a been a clue. :biggrin_2552:
It was actually in Henderson but I've seen vets that have happier patients.

Yes you'd think when it's screaming in pain, and your options are limited, regular check ups and cleaning, maintenance, would seem like a no brainer.

Same rules apply to the rest of your body. Without your health, you have nothing.
