Well just another day of playing mechanic. The guy that was supposed to show up decided to bail out on me. Luckily my buddy was able to pick up a coolant tank and bring it to me and i replaced it myself, then went and delivered my load.

I sent an invoice to my company to pay me for labor and the cost of parts.. Since it seems like i care about their truck more then they do.... Also I must mention the guys at peterbilt in missoula have helped me out tremendously 2 weeks in a row. Gave me a discount on the tank.

At least they had the road markers and the road was strait.

It was one of the things this city boy took notice of back in his youth on a road trip. Tried to figure out what the sticks were near every low spot on the state highways in TX. Parked next to one and got out to read the itty-bitty sign. Said flash flood water depth........

Passed a flatbedder today who was adjusting his load. The guy's shirt was almost entirely soaked through.

    Yeah, not for me.

Well sealed and vent lines out of the water.

Can't put a number to the number of blown up diffs and wheel bearings a buddy replaced at a dealership I think he was at a couple per month in the summer time caused by people rushing to get their boat in the water and quenching the nice hot diff and sucking in water through the vent. Part of the trailer package was a tube up to the frame from the vent.

In Ireland the roads disappear in between the tides. I went there a couple of years ago. A road a low tide and then an island at high tide. There was 12ish cottages out on the island.
