What if it Snows?

Hell, with me being local now she may catch up to me in another year or 2. I think I might be able to cross Half a Mil before the end of this year.

Yeah, OTR takes a special kind of person to do it long term. Personally I loved it, and if I was a single man or didnt have children I would still be doing it. But family is more important right now.

OTR is Definetally NOT a day job... Its a lifestyle that requires work to be done 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I cant even begin to count how many times my sleep schedule flip-flopped back and forth between days and nights, often with as little as 7 hours to acclimate.

 

Ive got 1 that you would be hard pressed to get a reaction of any kind from. He I super lazy... My 3 year old can pack him around, drop him, lay on him, step on him, just about anything and he will just let it happen. As long as hes dry he is pretty much a fur rug, until the automatic feeder releases some food that is.... Lol

But yeah, most cats dont even like being in a vehicle. Let alone a truck getting mechanical work done to it, or a truck bouncing from the fork lift in and out of the trailer.

I really enjoy my weekend runs. Scales closed, No rush hours. Having an extra day to run it. Doesn’t seem like a job at all. Pretty much do whatever at whatever time I want. I can’t stand daily structured work or any structured activity for that matter. Like to make decisions at the spur of the moment, based on how I feel at any given time. That’s freedom. Dealings with others, be it insurance companies, Drs appointments, or the so called Authorities are minor. aggravations, that have to be tolerated.
