I couldn't think of a good lie, so I thought I'd slip it in to normal conversation and if challenged, pretend to have already told her about it.

The ol' "screen pass".........

"........yeah, and I'll be in Dayton Thursday."

"Good. You coming home?"

"No, I gotta run a load to the Major National Brand Ketchup plant, then off to Ham Mound to pick up a load going to Atlanta for relay to Dayton".

"Okay. So you'll be home Saturday."

"Yeah".

"Good."

That was it. What a difference a day makes........

I got a load for tomorrow to Orlando Florida. It's 15k pounds. I hope the ride is better with 8 new shocks. Four of the shocks still seemed decent. Two were real weak. The cab shocks seemed ok, but idk.
