What if it Snows?

I'm 75. PIE filed for bankruptcy in 1990 if I remember right. I was working out of a small Northern California terminal when Matlack bought PIE's tank division. The terminal was promptly closed and most of the drivers found other jobs rather than take transfers to stay with Matlack. Transfers would have involved moving to major urban areas.

Your dad is obviously a man with well honed powers of observation. You would have done well to listen to him.

I noticed the Chrysler assembly plant near me has a huge lot full of new vehicles. All waiting on Chips, I suppose. No layoffs, they’re still building. Must be moving vehicles to other Lots and fields. Some Manufactures are shipping vehicles minus certain luxury items. BMWs without navigation systems. Research before buying is highly suggested. Used cars still up 25% in price on average.

 

I did. That's why I'm a truck driver.

 

Funny thing about that forecast......

Nowhere does it mention that that storm is coming onshore now in WA or BC. We are expecting pushing 3 inches of tain in the next 36 hours. With some low land flooding and some creeks jumping the banks.

Just a regular early season storm out here........
