295 around Richmond was a show. Coming up 95 from Carolina the road got that eerie suspicious feeling. Perfectly clear but damp roads. Appeared to be maybe or maybe not treated kinda thing. Got on 295 N right after sunset and as soon as the temp hit 29 i started watching cars on the southbound side spinning into the ditch and hitting guard rails. Slowed to 35 and ran with my hazards on while traffic whizzed by me apparently oblivious to the carnage happening across the way. Got parked, and couldn't even walk across the pavement it was so slick. Trodded through the snow and grabbed a double duece and said a prayer.
I can deal with alot, but I need to know what I'm riding on. Some of these dudes never slacked a tap. F me. As soon as I take 34 and say hi to the wife think I'm going to grab a load to Fla where all of the normal people are.

I’m out here working on the Truck. With the short days, I’ve no choice. It’s 22 degrees. Something peaceful about working at night. No distractions. Warmer weather would be nice. No end in sight.

Truck won’t start. Had it running, it died. Low coolant. Added a gallon, fired up again, ran good. Next morning wouldn’t start. Put new batteries in it. I think it’s froze up now that it turned cold.Last Fuel was down south. Plus the tanks are low. I added Howe’s, Changed fuel filters. Going to cross my fingers in a few minutes. If it starts, BT straight to the fuel stop 3/4 mile away. My fault, for not getting some treated fuel, before parking it. It was late, got empty 7 miles from home. May still have a ecm power harness problem. Low voltage code has been on for years. I was told it was the battery in the ecm. Further research says it’s the harness. It may have a broken wire. Trying everything else first. I’d rather just buy the whole harness later and change it. Not real good with electrical stuff. Always screw up more than I fix. Lol.

Truck is a no go. Won’t even start on ether. I’ve got a strange air leak near the compressor. Tomorrow’s 35 and sunny. Must be a bad timing sensor or the ecm harness. Might have to call out a mechanic.

Maybe because the person we caught covid from was fully vaccinated, things like that tend to bring ridicule.

The morning national news is showing I 95 and Virginia. The scenes are an ice covered parking lot. Plus flight cancellations.

Good morning good folks of WIIS no snow or bad weather in Dallas. We the boys and my bride are stuck in an about two hours line to get another round of Covid test. Hope it opens at 7:30 as advertised. The week before Christmas made it through fast but this time the whole family is showing signs of Covid so this testing is just for conformation. Yes we were all had the vax and still passed it on to one another.
