I keep the bucket and bag around as well, but if you are having a problem that prevents you from making it to the next rest area or truck stop, a box of Immodium AD is really what you need. I don't leave home without some. Especially with some of these dives we eat at sometimes.

Get between the truck and trailer at the end of the catwalk. Squat and press your back against the trailer and let 'er rip. Dont hit the driveshaft though.
Above tip especially useful after eating a grease burger from one of Jerseys service plazas, but not recommended during the day. -

I can remember being in WY middle of winter, traffic stopped because of a accident.
Student had to go number 2, no trees nothing near..
He decided as we were beside another semi that he could sit on the spare tire carrier & pitch his loaf from there...
I laughed about it then & whenever this subject come up I always laugh.... IT WAS AT LEAST -08 OUTSIDE.... -
I dunno about some of you guys but most of the runs I've been on have a truck stop just about every 25 miles or so. havent had this problem yet. I'm pretty good at holding it but when i finaly find a toilet i stright up destroy it
