I am starting C1 in Fort Wayne on the 16th and I was wondering what happens if USA decides that they do not want to take me after I have already arrived at the school? Do I still go through the CDL training or do they send me home right away? And if USA does decide not to take me, are there other companies that work with Driver Solutions who will take me?
Thanks for your time
What if...?

Why wouldn't they take u? Were u honest on ure application?

USA tends to be a little picky. Atleast they were when I was at c1 in little rock. Several guys got denied but Pam picked up most of them. Or USA doesn't need as many drivers in each class and weeds a few out. I'm not 100% on it. I did notice Pam had most of the guys in the three classes while I was there. Probably 80% of the students. But they run teams for the first 6 months so they need twice the drivers I guess.
I wouldn't worry unless you were less than truthful on your app

No I am always totally honest on apps. Guess I am just comming down with a case of nerves now that I am so close to going. Thanks everyone. Stay safe out there.

Even if they didn't pick you up there are hundreds of companies that would. Relax, someone will take you.

I was going to go C1 on the 16th as well. But my agent wouldnt allow me to go till i was approved by the carrier. to be approved they have already gone through your application for work history checks and they talk to their insurance (<-- this was my case cuz of 1 dumb mistake that i made going 20+ over. I hate ppl who drive under speed limit and when u try to pass they try to race u.) So now i am having to wait for the 23th.

Put your mouth up to a piece of glass. If you start seeing fog on the glass, congratulations, you are qualified to work for Pam and the rest of the bottom feeders.
